Shipping & Freight Information
Review shipping methods, LTL freight, curbside delivery, liftgate service, inspection and delivery preparation for machinery orders.
Professional machinery requires careful shipping coordination. The delivery method depends on the product's dimensions, weight, destination and any unloading services required at the receiving address.
How orders are shipped
Smaller products and accessories generally travel by parcel carrier. Equipment weighing more than approximately 150 pounds commonly ships by LTL commercial truck. When freight is included in a product offer, it generally refers to standard delivery within the continental 48 United States unless the product page or quotation states otherwise.
Commercial and curbside delivery
Standard LTL service is typically curbside or dock delivery. The driver is not normally responsible for moving machinery inside a building, garage or jobsite. A commercial address with a loading dock or forklift is the most efficient receiving option.
Liftgate and residential service
If the receiving location does not have a dock or forklift, request liftgate service before the order ships. Residential access, limited-access locations, appointment delivery and liftgate service can create additional carrier charges. Our team may contact you to confirm these requirements.
Preparing for delivery
- Confirm that the delivery address and telephone number are accurate.
- Make sure someone authorized is available to receive and sign for the shipment.
- Prepare appropriate unloading equipment when liftgate service has not been arranged.
- Inspect the packaging before signing the freight receipt.
- Photograph and note visible damage on the carrier document immediately.
Transit and tracking
Freight transit commonly takes several business days after dispatch, although timing varies by location, carrier capacity, weather and equipment availability. Tracking or carrier details are sent when available. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.
